Miguel Wald began his career as a professional translator in 1984, when he finally had to admit that neither the cello nor the saxophone would take him anywhere in life. He has specialized in the translation of texts on education, culture, and social sciences, as well as film (for subtitling). He is also a translation teacher. He edited "Idiomanía" magazine, and the monthly journal of the Colegio de Traductores Públicos de Buenos Aires (CTPBA), and created and coordinated the Editorial Board of CTPBA's academic journal, "El lenguaraz." He also produced and wrote "Idiomanía-TV." He loves running, and promises that one day he'll decide whether he is running to or from. Or both at the same time, which would account for his increasing schizophrenia.
