Jerry Chris, Ed.D., has taught TOK and served as IB Coordinator at Mission Viejo High School, California, USA, since 1985. Jerry is a former California Teacher of the Year for Gifted Education. He has taught Socratic Dialogue and Critical Thinking at teacher institutes from the University of Southern California to Harvard University. He is the author of six educational books and two novels. Jerry has been married to his wife, Maureen, since 1969 and has two daughters. When not involved in education, he can be found trying to improve his low-handicap golf game or windsurfing in the Pacific.
